Here is an image showing the path of the Moon's shadow through the Cook Islands, which lie in South Pacific pertaining to the upcoming solar eclipse on 11th July 2010.
The narrow slip marked in the middle is the area where the totality will be visible, Mangaia is the best place to observe the totality of the solar eclipse, if you're in the territory of Cook Islands.
Additionally there are other isles, Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Manuae, Takutea, Atiu, Mauke, Maria Atoll, Rimatara, Rurutu lying beside the either side of the totality's path. Some of them are known as Austral Islands of French Polynesia. They will have the chance to observe the eclipse a s a partial solar eclipse,
As you see in the picture, the UT (Universal Time) is also marked in the map to clearly illustrate the time for different parts along the track of Moon's shadow.
